Assistant Store Manager - Sally Beauty Location: Orlando, FL (as applicable in posting) Overview Assist the Store Manager in hiring, developing and leading store associates while ensuring optimal customer experiences, overseeing store operations, and maintaining brand standards. Support the Store Manager with strategies to achieve key performance indicators and financial targets through business analysis, action planning, effective communication and accountability. When the Store Manager is not present, assume responsibility for primary duties. Responsibilities Primary Duties 30% Brand: Supervise and direct associates’ daily goals to deliver an exceptional client experience, maximize sales/KPIs, and drive customer loyalty in assigned stores. Ensure brand standards are met (merchandising, POGs, marketing, back rooms, dress code, etc.). Serve as main contact to resolve customer issues; analyze store trends to anticipate customer demands. 30% People: Hire, train and develop teams to achieve positive results. Actively recruit to build a network of external candidates when needed. Identify strengths and opportunities for each associate and address them through coaching or counseling. Enforce company policies and expectations; maintain positive associate relations and timely communication. Build relationships with Store Manager peers and AM/DM; foster diversity, inclusion and belonging. 30% Operations: Ensure execution of company processes through training, management, analysis and continuous improvement. Utilize digital strategies including Omni-channel fulfillment (SFS/SDD/BOPIS). Manage inventory through ordering and shipment processing; manage payroll hours and scheduling; ensure proper opening/closing procedures; follow Company directives and projects. 10% Safety/Loss Prevention: Maintain a safe store environment; enforce policies, protect assets, control inventory and cash handling related to shrink and damages. Use available reporting, tools and technology; ensure compliance with HAZMAT training and procedures.
