Med Surg/Tele Registered Nurse

This position is for a Med Surg/Tele Registered Nurse. The nurse will float as required by facility needs. The schedule includes three 12-hour shifts per week. Every other weekend and holiday coverage is required. The nurse will be responsible for managing patients with telemetry needs. They must demonstrate proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation. Nurses will independently measure and interpret telemetry strips for all patients under their care. The position requires both teamwork and the ability to work independently. The nurse will collaborate with the care team, which may include RNs, LPNs, and PCAs. All requested time off must be included with the submittal. This role supports optimal patient outcomes through proactive monitoring and interventions. Knowledge of current best practices and policies in nursing is essential.
