Dental Assistant Position

Amergis is searching for qualified Dental Assistants for our client, the Orlando Veterans Affairs Medical Center and associated surrounding clinics:

13800 Veterans Way Orlando, FL 32827

5201 Raymond Street Orlando, FL 32803

In addition to Amergis' standard benefits package, we are also offering the following:

$22.84 + $5.09/hour, total pay per hour $27.93/hour

Schedule:

Dental Assistants will provide services Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Schedule adjustments may be required based on operational needs. When changes to the established schedule are necessary, the Government will provide the Contractor with a minimum of two (2) weeks' advance notice whenever possible.

Minimum Requirements:

Dental Assistants must have successfully completed a one (1) year dental assistant program accredited by the American Dental Association's Commission on Dental Accreditation (CODA).

Additionally, Dental Assistants must possess a minimum of one (1) years' experience as a dental assistant.

Dental Assistants must be competent in using four-handed dentistry, assisting with specialty procedures such as oral surgery, periodontal therapy, endodontics, prosthodontics and implant placement and restorations.

A Dental Radiological Certificate is mandatory.

Dental Assistants are required to hold a current Basic Life Support (BLS) and/or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.

A valid Tuberculosis (TB) test is also required.
