Front Desk ReceptionistPediatrics On Demand is an Immediate Care and Primary Care located in Oak Lawn, IL. We also have a sister company, Minis Walk In Clinic. We serve patients from birth to 21 years of age.We are focused on high quality patient care and customer service. We are currently seeking a bright front desk receptionist that can bring the customer service level to the highest standard and bring value to the business environment of the office. Our Mission: "Better Healthcare for Tomorrow's Leaders".We are currently searching for a part-time Front Desk Receptionist to cover our 12-hour weekend shifts from 9AM to 9PM. Hourly Rate: $18-$20 Depending on ExperienceFront Desk Responsibilities:Welcomes patients and visitors by greeting patients and visitors, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.Answering patients' questions; maintaining the reception area.Ensures availability of treatment information by filing and retrieving patient records.Maintains patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating personal and financial information.Obtains payments form the patientsObtaining consents for treatmentVerifying insurances and collecting copays and balancesMaintaining confidentiality of personal and financial information.Maintains operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changesMust follow and enforce accepted safety practices for patientsReport any incidents/patient concerns to supervisor in a timely mannerMust display a professional, friendly, and courteous manner at all timesBeing a team playerPerforms other duties as assignedSupervisory ResponsibilitiesReport attendance and tardy issues per shift as requiredMaintain excellent attendance-lead by exampleOther duties as requiredRequirements:Healthcare experience requiredHigh school Diploma or GEDAbility to work evenings and weekendsSkills:Basic skills include; customer relations, math, grammar/spelling, typing, the ability to follow written and oral directions, and the ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.Job Type: Part Time Please note: Due to the high volume of applicants, we are unable to respond individually to every candidate.
