Job Summary


Our client is seeking a dedicated Patient Access Representative responsible for providing exceptional customer service in a healthcare setting, managing patient reception, registration, scheduling, insurance, and maintaining Standards of Care.


Key Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and customers.
• Prioritize patient flow and verify insurance benefits.
• Triage phone calls and schedule appointments effectively.
• Respond to inquiries from patients, visitors, and customers.
• Obtain patient demographics, personal information, and medical history by interviewing patients.
• Collect payments and perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; diploma or equivalent with 3 years of experience required.
• Two years of experience in healthcare or related customer service field.
• Superior written and oral communication skills.
• Exceptional customer service skills and ability to multitask.
• Knowledge of healthcare, health insurance, and medical terminology.

Skills

• Strong customer service skills.
• High School diploma or Equivalency (GED).
• Familiarity with medical terminology and ability to work in a team environment.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide, and calculate percentages.
