Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategic sales plans to target municipal water departments and related entities within assigned territories.
• Conduct warm calling campaigns to establish initial contact with prospective clients and nurture ongoing relationships with existing accounts.
• Present technical waterworks solutions confidently, demonstrating product benefits aligned with client needs through in-person meetings and presentations.
• Manage the entire sales cycle from prospecting and negotiation to deal closing, ensuring customer satisfaction at every step.
• Utilize CRM systems such as Salesforce to track customer interactions, update account information, and analyze sales data for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns that increase brand awareness and generate new leads in municipal markets.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to position our offerings effectively.

Requirements

• Proven experience in B2B sales within the waterworks, technology sales, or software sales sectors; technical sales experience is highly valued.
• Strong negotiation skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals in a corporate or enterprise selling environment.
• Proficiency with sales management systems such as Salesforce or other CRM tools; ability to manage customer accounts efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—to foster trust and build lasting client relationships.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct deal closing negotiations confidently while managing multiple accounts simultaneously.
• Experience in business development, marketing strategies, and client communication within a technical or industrial context.
