Job Description
The Miccosukee Tribe of Indians of Florida is currently seeking a highly motivated and dedicated Substance Abuse Counselor to join our team. The position available is a full-time position for a Substance Abuse Professional to work in our Family Treatment Center (a privately owned facility). The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing counseling and support to individuals struggling with substance abuse disorders. This position requires a compassionate and understanding individual to provide substance abuse counseling services including but not limited to; direct client care in the assessment, treatment planning, short/long-term counseling, psycho education and case management in 24-hour residential setting, with alcohol & substance abuse certification & experience; other duties as assigned.
- License preferred but Master's Degree required.
- MUST be able to work flexible schedule to include holidays, evenings and/or weekends.
Salary: $55,000. - $65,000 annually
