Overview Nuclear Medicine Technologist travel assignment in a hospital imaging department located in Carbondale, Illinois. Start date: 08/10/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: 2,883–3,165. Responsibilities

• Perform nuclear medicine imaging studies using appropriate protocols for diagnostic purposes.
• Prepare, administer, and track radiopharmaceuticals according to established procedures and patient safety guidelines.
• Calibrate, operate, and maintain imaging equipment; conduct routine quality control and quality assurance checks.
• Process and review acquired images; document findings and ensure accurate patient records in the imaging system.
• Monitor patients during procedures, address questions, and ensure comfort and safety throughout the exam.
• Collaborate with physicians, radiologists, technologists, and other clinical staff to ensure timely, accurate results and adherence to safety standards.

Requirements

• Nuclear Medicine Technologist with an imaging background, specifically in nuclear medicine.
• On-call requirement: 1 week per month.
• Active credential in nuclear medicine imaging as applicable to the role.
• Ability to work in a hospital imaging department setting.
• Availability to start on 08/10/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment.
• Lab technicians without nuclear medicine experience will not be qualified for this position.
