Take on a vital role supporting student well-being and growth as an Elementary School Adjustment Counselor for the upcoming academic year. You will collaborate with dedicated educational teams across several elementary campuses, engaging with students and families to nurture emotional, social, and behavioral skills that help every child thrive in school. Your expertise will contribute to a compassionate environment where barriers to academic and personal success are addressed with sensitivity and professionalism.

This contract role spans from August 26, 2026, through June 15, 2027, with a 35-hour workweek shared among four local elementary schools. The district welcomes candidates licensed as Counselors, Psychologists, or Social Workers, ensuring diverse perspectives and specialized skills are valued.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree in School Counseling, School Psychology, Social Work, or a related discipline
• Demonstrated experience in school-based counseling or mental health services for children
• Ability to hold (or current possession of) NH certification: School Counselor (0040), School Psychologist (0046), Associate School Psychologist (0047), or School Social Worker (0049)
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with educational teams, students, and families

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver responsive and rehabilitative counseling services to elementary students
• Participate in student support teams across multiple schools, ensuring cohesive care
• Support children’s academic, emotional, and social development
• Engage families in intervention and support plans
• Advocate for students’ needs within the school community
