Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN)

Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 8-Hour Shifts + Call | Gateway Regional Medical Center

Gateway Regional Medical Center is hiring a Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our Surgical Services team.

As an Operating Room RN, you will play a key role in supporting safe and effective surgical care, including:

• Providing direct nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgery
• Preparing patients for surgical procedures and supporting pre-op assessments
• Assisting surgeons and surgical teams during procedures
• Monitoring patients throughout operative and recovery phases
• Maintaining sterile technique and patient safety standards
• Collaborating closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists
• Ensuring accurate documentation and continuity of care

• Full-time, Monday–Friday
• 8-hour shifts
• Call required

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (RN required)
• Current Illinois RN license
• Current BLS certification required
• OR experience preferred
• New graduates welcome to apply
