Store Leader (Manager) Trainee

Store Manager The Store Leader is the heart and soul of the store. A Store Leader with an Assistant or two makes up the store's leadership team, executing merchandising and marketing initiatives, driving profitability, developing the skills of the entire store team, and ensuring customers are well taken care of. We are looking for an experienced manager ready to lead a team and focus on customer experience. Responsibilities Execute merchandising and marketing initiatives. Drive profitability and use P&L and store reports to effect change. Develop the skills of the entire store team and provide coaching and training. Ensure high retention by identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity. Oversee cash handling, fuel transactions, and promotion of the rewards loyalty program. Maintain a clean, safe environment by complying with all health and sanitation procedures. Qualifications Ability to oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching for all store employees. High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required for candidates with at least one year of retail management experience. Valid driver's license from the state of residence and automotive liability insurance. Proficient computer knowledge (Microsoft Word, Excel). Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
