Quality Specialist

CHASE Staffing is currently hiring Quality Specialists in the Adairsville, GA area! The Quality Specialist is responsible for supporting quality, safety, and continuous improvement efforts throughout the manufacturing facility. This position works closely with production teams to ensure products meet quality standards, performs inspections, monitors processes, supports corrective actions, and helps promote a strong Quality, Safety, and Environmental (QSE) culture. Pay Rate: Depends on Experience. Shifts Available: 1st Shift: Monday - Friday | 6:00 AM - 2:20 PM 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday | 2:00 PM - 10:20 PM Some Saturdays are required! Key Responsibilities Perform quality control inspections at production workstations and document results. Verify products meet quality standards through inspections, measurements, and testing. Inspect materials, finished products, and production processes for compliance. Perform quality checks using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, measuring benches, and other inspection tools. Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, schematics, and specifications. Monitor production processes and identify quality issues or non-conformities. Communicate quality concerns and assist with corrective action processes. Perform internal audits of workstations and production areas. Support continuous improvement initiatives and promote a Lean manufacturing mindset. Conduct product testing, including tensile testing, coating inspections, and quality validations. Maintain quality documentation, reports, and inspection records. Assist with equipment and measuring tool calibrations. Ensure proper waste sorting and maintain compliance with environmental standards. Promote safe work practices and ensure employees follow QSHE standards. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Qualifications 5+ years of quality control, quality inspection, or manufacturing experience required. Welding, metal fabrication, or industrial manufacturing experience preferred. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications. Experience using precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges. Knowledge of quality control processes and inspection methods. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Ability to make independent decisions and stop production when quality standards are not met. Basic understanding of chemical processes and coatings is preferred. Strong communication, teamwork, and reporting skills. Basic computer/data entry skills for maintaining quality records. Must be able to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods. Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs. Must be comfortable working in a loud manufacturing environment and wearing required PPE. Must be able to work overtime as needed. Must have dependable attendance, a strong work ethic, and attention to safety. Must be willing to complete a drug screen at Piedmont Urgent Care. Must be able to pass a 7-year background check.
