Operating Director – New Bedford, MA Full‑time position located in New Bedford, MA. Job Summary Cornerstone Caregiving, the largest privately owned in‑home care company, has achieved remarkable growth in recent years. As we advance our mission and expand nationwide, we are searching for an exceptional Operating Director to lead this branch’s growth. Supported by our homebase and a network of Operating Directors, you will play a pivotal role in driving our vision forward. Responsibilities and Duties Independently manage and lead this branch, with ongoing corporate training and support. Business Development: develop and execute a marketing plan to establish Cornerstone as the preferred in‑home care provider. Referral building: cultivate and manage relationships with referral partners (hospitals, hospices, senior living, etc.). Staffing and scheduling: hire and onboard new team members, ensure all shifts are properly staffed, and monitor on‑call responsibilities as calls come from clients, caregivers and partners. In‑home assessments: build strong client relationships, conduct intakes and ensure client satisfaction. Financial management: oversee office budget reflected in profit and loss statements. Cultivating culture: create the workplace of choice for your territory by incentivizing, motivating and setting the tone of your team morale. Qualifications & Skills A proven leader with previous experience managing a team. Success with meeting sales and business development goals. Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑paced environment. Entrepreneurial mindset. Experience with direct recruitment, hiring and oversight of staff. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
