CHRISTUS Southern New Mexico in Alamogordo is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible Gastroenterologist to join our established practice, serving as the region's primary provider of digestive health services. Our clinic offers private exam rooms, dedicated procedure space, advanced endoscopy equipment, and an in-house lab, with full access to hospital resources including surgical suites and imaging. The practice scope includes in-office procedures such as hemorrhoid banding, FibroScan, and PillCam, with advanced cases supported through four operating rooms with block scheduling available. Outpatient surgeries are performed at Scenic View Surgery Center, located within the hospital. Position Highlights Full Time Position 100% outpatient practice Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM; ½ day of admin hours Patient Volume: 15-20 patients per day and 40-60 provider referrals Call: Shared, 2 locums providers currently practicing J-1 and H-1B sponsorship available Compensation & Benefits: Base plus model! – $800k+ earning potential Sign on Bonus up to $100,000 Malpractice with tail coverage CME allowance Retirement with employer match Medical/Dental/Vision Benefits 27 PTO Days + 8 HWAL (sick) Days + 5 CME Days = 40 days of paid leave per year Qualifications Board-certified or board-eligible by ABIM or AOOBIM GI fellowship trained Must also possess an unrestricted New Mexico Medical License or be eligible to be licensed in the state of New Mexico IND123 #J-18808-Ljbffr
