Job Description
The SMSU Psychology program is looking to add to their pool of adjunct instructors who could teach online and/or on-campus courses that support psychology and other majors. We may have opportunities arise for instructors to cover General Psychology, Statistics for the Behavioral Sciences, Sport and Performance Psychology, Abnormal Psychology, Developmental Psychology, and other discipline related courses. Required Qualifications
Southwest Minnesota State University is one of seven universities in the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities system. SMSU gives highest priority to excellence in teaching and preparing students to be lifelong learners through quality undergraduate and graduate teaching/advising and strong student/faculty relationships. Job Description

Required Qualifications
- Master's or Doctorate (preferred) in Psychology (or related field).
- Strong commitment to teaching is essential, including teaching experience with undergraduate students.
- Strong academic record.
- Very strong interpersonal/administrative/mentoring skills.
- Demonstrated abilities/competence in instructional technology, including online instruction is strongly preferred.
- Must have understanding of and appreciation for liberal arts. The University is committed to fostering a global perspective.
- The successful candidate will have demonstrated ability to teach and work with persons from diverse backgrounds.
