Software Engineer II

This position is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. The engineer will ensure that software meets functional, non‑functional and compliance requirements, code solutions, unit test, and integrate solutions with robust, well-tested interfaces. Key Responsibilities Defining the technology strategy for the respective lines of business Managing a team of developers both onshore and offshore Building and managing end‑to‑end Capital Markets Deal execution initiatives Creating technology architecture for the applications Managing deliverables and maintaining stability and operational excellence Working closely with business and other technology stakeholders in a scaled Agile model Creating detailed system designs Working with CTO to define monitoring requirements Mentoring senior developers and enforcing technology best practices Required Qualifications 4+ years of experience building financial applications, including web development Led and owned delivery of applications using Angular, micro‑services, and messaging technologies Complete end‑to‑end ownership of application development and management Strong knowledge of MuleSoft Extensive experience with Java and related technologies Strong verbal and written communication skills Well‑organized and detail oriented Champion of agile methodology, planful, and willing to take calculated risks Skills Application Development Collaboration DevOps Practices Solution Design Result Orientation Solution Delivery Process Analytical Thinking Shift: 1st shift (United States of America) Hours per week: 40 Pay: US - NJ - Jersey City - 101 Hudson St Pay range: $88,800.00 – $145,000.00 (annualized salary, offers determined by experience, education and skill set).
