Warehouse ClerkThis role supports a specialized electropolishing and metal finishing operation by managing warehouse activities such as loading and unloading trucks, handling inventory by hand, and ensuring accurate inspection and packing of parts. The warehouse clerk helps maintain efficient inventory control, supports production and shipping activities, and keeps the warehouse clean, organized, and safe.ResponsibilitiesLoad and unload trucks by hand to move parts and materials safely and efficiently.Receive incoming parts, unpack them carefully, and verify quantities and condition against packing or receiving documents.Inspect parts upon receipt and prior to shipment to ensure they meet quality and customer requirements.Repack and re-inspect parts as needed to maintain product integrity and compliance with packing orders.Follow detailed packing orders for parts to ensure correct labeling, packaging, and staging for shipment.Essential SkillsAt least 3 years of warehouse experience.Hands-on experience with receiving parts, including unpacking, verifying, and documenting incoming materials.Proficiency in unpacking parts, inspecting them, repacking, and reinspecting as required.Ability to perform material handling tasks, including lifting and moving heavy items safely.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Houston, TX.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
