  • Work hand in hand with a multidisciplinary team including nurses, physicians, caregivers, and other therapists to ensure integrated care strategies.
  • Provide education to patients and their families to support advancement beyond clinical settings.
  • Assist in conducting inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring continuous care throughout the treatment process.
  • Document all services and progress accurately and promptly, in compliance with state and federal regulations.
  • Engage in continuing education and professional collaboration to remain informed on the latest advancements in the field.
Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
  • Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is still pending.
Licenses and Certifications
  • Current state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist.
  • Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
  • Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 30 days of starting the position.
Desired Skills
  • Expertise in evidence-based treatment for a spectrum of ages, coupled with a nuanced understanding of both developmental and acquired disorders of speech, language, and swallowing.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills to engage meaningfully with patients, their families, and the broader healthcare team.
  • Adaptability in therapy approaches to accommodate diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
  • Strong clinical insight and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records and documentation practices.
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary that reflects your experience and skills.
  • Flexible work schedules encouraging a healthy work-life balance and diverse caseload management.
  • Opportunity to specialize in pediatric care, adult rehabilitation, or geriatric therapy.
  • Generous paid time off (PTO) and holiday benefits.
  • Comprehensive health insurance options including medical, dental, vision, and life coverage.
  • Support for continuing education and professional development.
  • A nurturing team-centered environment that prioritizes quality care and lifelong learning.
