Industrial Maintenance Technician – ElectromechanicalWe are seeking a hands-on Industrial Maintenance Technician with strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting experience to maintain, repair, and improve industrial production equipment.This role works on manufacturing machinery, not vehicles, and is ideal for someone who can diagnose an electrical problem with a multimeter, determine the root cause, and then complete the mechanical repair.ResponsibilitiesDiagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment failuresRespond to equipment breakdowns and safely restore machinery to operationTroubleshoot motors, sensors, switches, relays, contactors, wiring, drives, and electrical control componentsRepair and replace bearings, belts, chains, rollers, gears, shafts, motors, and other mechanical componentsPerform scheduled preventive and corrective maintenanceRead and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, mechanical drawings, and technical manualsTroubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment, including faults, inputs/outputs, sensors, drives, and related control componentsTroubleshoot VFDs, HMIs, motors, and automated production equipmentRebuild used or existing equipment to restore functionality and extend equipment lifeAssist with equipment installations, adjustments, modifications, and process improvementsInspect machinery for wear, damage, and potential failuresComplete maintenance work orders and required documentationFollow lockout/tagout procedures and all plant safety requirementsRequired QualificationsPrevious hands-on industrial or manufacturing maintenance experienceStrong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skillsIndustrial electrical troubleshooting experienceAbility to use a multimeter and other electrical diagnostic toolsWorking knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment and the ability to diagnose PLC-related faultsAbility to determine whether an equipment failure is electrical, mechanical, or bothPreferred ExperiencePLC troubleshootingVFDs and HMIsAC/DC drives and motor controlsAutomated manufacturing equipmentHydraulics and pneumaticsEquipment rebuildsWelding or fabricationCMMS systemsIndustrial maintenance, electrical, mechatronics, or technical trainingThis May Be a Good Fit If You:Have experience maintaining manufacturing machinery rather than automobilesAre equally comfortable troubleshooting electrical and mechanical problemsCan use a multimeter and also perform hands-on mechanical repairsHave experience working with motors, bearings, chains, rollers, belts, sensors, drives, and controlsTo ApplyResumes can be confidentially sent to View email address on click.appcast.io submit a resume for consideration.
