We currently have an opportunity for a Printer Operator at our Manufacturing Plant in Huntersville , NC .

NIGHT SHIFT HOURS
(12 Hour Shift)

Responsibilities

The Printer Operator safely and efficiently operates manufacturing equipment to meet established standards for quality, waste, efficiency, and utilization. The position supports consistent production flow by troubleshooting equipment issues, identifying defective products, making necessary machine adjustments, completing required documentation, and maintaining safety, housekeeping, and standard work practices. The role also supports less experienced team members as needed and contributes to reliable production performance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Operations

• Operate manufacturing equipment safely and consistently at or above established performance standards for quality, efficiency, waste, and utilization.
• Monitor machine performance and production output to ensure targets are met.
• Perform routine machine adjustments to maintain optimal operation and product quality.

Troubleshooting & Quality

• Troubleshoot, identify, and correct machine-related issues through proper adjustments and problem-solving techniques.
• Inspect products to identify defects and make machine adjustments to correct quality issues.
• Identify, isolate, and address defective products during the production process.

Safety & Housekeeping

• Maintain compliance with all safety, housekeeping, and standard work guidelines to ensure a safe work environment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas in accordance with housekeeping standards.

Documentation

• Complete end-of-shift and production documentation accurately and on time.
• Accurately record production data, machine time, crewing time, and quantities produced.

Team Support

• Support and provide guidance to less experienced team members as needed.

Requirements

Education/Experience

Required

• High school diploma or GED.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Mechanical aptitude with demonstrated problem-solving skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations and follow standard work instructions.
• Proven ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to complete paperwork accurately and timely.
