Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Screen, evaluate, and treat patients to restore function and mobility
Develop and update individualized treatment and discharge plans of care
Document services accurately and timely to ensure continuity of care
Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and Rehab Techs in accordance with practice acts
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams and families for holistic patient support
Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards

Qualifications

Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT, MSPT, or BSPT)
Active state Physical Therapist license or the ability to obtain one
Strong communication, documentation, and clinical skills
Flexibility to adapt to varying facilities, schedules, and patient needs

Education

Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT, MSPT, or BSPT)

Knowledge & Skills

Patient evaluation and evidence-based treatment planning
Therapy delivery focused on restoring function and mobility
Accurate and timely clinical documentation
Supervision of PTAs and Rehab Techs
Interdisciplinary collaboration and family communication
Knowledge of state/federal regulations and infection control standards
Adaptability and flexibility in dynamic healthcare settings
