Teamwork mentality with the ability to coach and give feedback in real-time. Flexibility to work in all areas of the Emergency Department. Ability to read telemetry monitors and pass the telemetry exam. Description: This position involves working in a high-volume emergency department. The department typically has a patient ratio of 4:1, with up to 7:1 on behavioral holds. Staffing includes technicians who work in cardiac monitoring and internal processing areas. Basic equipment used includes pumps and monitors. Documentation is managed using a specific electronic system. Scheduling requirements include working every other weekend, with flexibility on schedule commitments. The role requires adherence to patient experience standards and respectful behavior.
