OverviewConcentra Onsite Physician Medical Director: 32-hour Workweek + Up to $10K Hiring Bonus!Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 1 PM onsite with client; pick up the remaining hours in the afternoons in one of our clinics in Raleigh / DurhamLocation: Raleigh, NC - onsite with our clientCompetitive Base Salary aligned with a 32-hour workweek, full benefitsConcentra is seeking a Physician to provide direct patient care as well as medical leadership of our client's onsite Occupational Medicine / Employee Health clinic located in Raleigh. Services provided include: pre-employment and annual physicals, hearing conservation, fit testing, vaccines, work-related injury care and follow-up, first aid, and oversight of two RNs. The ideal candidate will have experience in Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, or Family Medicine; Occupational Medicine/Employee Health experience is preferred.Enjoy working for a physician practice with the benefits and support of a large organization. This role offers an opportunity for physicians to blend their love of patient care with their management skills, working for the leader in the workplace health industry.Concentra is recognized as the nation’s leading occupational health care company and one of “America’s Greatest Workplaces," as noted in Newsweek.ResponsibilitiesSpends 100% of time in the onsite clinic providing direct patient care, leading by example, and creating an exceptional patient experienceEnsures day-to-day execution of Concentra's clinical model, collaborating with members of the healthcare team to drive optimal clinical outcomes Accountable for monitoring, understanding, and effecting key onsite clinic metrics that relate to quality outcomes of Advanced Primary Care - chronic condition management, gaps in care, preventive health and age appropriate screenings, vaccinations, SDOH, wellness initiatives, clinic utilization and patient satisfaction of Occupational Medicine - timely return to work measures after an injury on the job, case duration, lost time, work duty status, reduction in work-related illnesses and improved functional capacity. Manages staff clinicians and support staff and complies with APC supervisory requirementsCreates a professional and collaborative working environment with full colleague participation that promotes teamwork, quality, exceptional outcomes, and patient and colleague safety and engagement Works with DMO and onsite leadership to identify and implement changes to ensure continuous clinical improvement Masters use of clinical systems to ensure efficiency, excellent supportive documentation, and follow-through on all patient care ordersEnsures compliance with local, State, and Federal Practice Act/Rules and Regulations/WC Regulations Drives patient and client experience metrics. Actively participates in meetings with the client where/when applicableAttend and actively participate in monthly clinician meetings and all other meetings as scheduled by the market leadership team.
