Endoscopic Registered Nurse PRN

As a CORPORATE STAFF ACCOUNTANT, you will:

• Review preliminary monthly activity and balances for assigned areas of responsibility. These will include fleet accounts, including capital lease obligations, debt and related interest and deferred financing fees, and others as assigned.
• Prepare/post journal entries and/or allocations for assigned accounts.
• Respond to information requests from branches, line managers, and corporate support staff. Research questions, review results with the appropriate contact, follow up on additional questions and make journal entry adjustments, if needed.
• Conduct account/transaction analyses for assigned Balance Sheet and/or Statement of Income accounts to ensure proper accounting. Review input documents/account activity, verify proper coding of accounts and make adjustments, as needed.
• Cross-train with other corporate staff accountants.
• Assist other team members as necessary.
• Develop tools to facilitate month-end close process.
• Assist Director/Senior Director with monthly close responsibilities as well as quarterly reporting to Up-line management, to include variance analysis and ad hoc reporting.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting plus a minimum of three years general accounting experience required. 
• Work independently and with minimal supervision.
• General knowledge of accounting practices/procedures. 
• This position must have excellent organizational, oral and written communication skills. 
• Must also have excellent analytical and computer abilities.
