Your Role: As the Caregiver , your role includes providing hands-on care and physical and emotional support to each resident while maintaining a safe and comfortable home-like environment.
Position Highlights:
- Status: FULL TIME or PART TIME.
- Schedule: 6 am - 2 pm or 6am - 6 pm & every other weekend
- Location: 8201 N. IL Route 91, Peoria, IL 61615
- Rate of Pay: based on years of experience: $17.00 - $18.50
- Responsible for designated group of residents during shift; ensures awareness of whereabouts and conducts frequent checks
- Provide daily personal care support, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, ambulation, transferring, and eating assistance
- Respond to security system and resident call bells promptly
- Help residents maintain independence while promoting dignity, safety, and overall well-being
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of resident rooms and work areas
- Offer companionship, encouragement, and emotional support to residents
- Engage residents in meaningful life skills activities and enrichment programs
- Notify supervisor and/or health care coordinator if a resident has increased care needs
- Other duties as assigned
- Certified Nurse's Aid (CNA) certification preferred
- High School diploma or GED required
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Prior experience working with seniors preferred
- Strong communication skills with residents, team members, and leadership
- Compassionate, resident-focused approach with superior customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Sound judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
