POSITION SUMMARY:


The Housekeeper reports to the onsite Maintenance Supervisor and plays a key role in ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for residents and visitors. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitary conditions of common areas, amenities, and vacant unit interiors, contributing to a positive and comfortable living experience for the community.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Clean and maintain all interior common areas including, but not limited to: lobbies, hallways, restrooms, fitness centers, community rooms, stairwells, elevators, offices, and laundry areas.
• Perform detailed cleaning of vacant units as part of the make-ready process, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, polishing, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Restock supplies in restrooms and other designated areas as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness of windows, glass doors, and interior fixtures.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the Maintenance Supervisor promptly.
• Assist the team during unit turns and special cleaning projects as required.
• Maintain cleaning equipment and ensure storage areas remain organized and sanitary.
• Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 1+ years of housekeeping or custodial experience preferred
• Demonstrated attention to detail and high cleaning standards
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and manage time effectively
• Ability to work as part of a team

PHYSICAL AND ENVIROMENTAL REQUIREMENETS:

• Occasional bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 25-40 lbs
• Frequent sitting and occasional standing, walking, reaching
• Noise level may be moderate to high at times
