Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (40 hours guaranteed)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $58.28 - $43.4 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, and manual therapy to help patients regain function
• Document patient progress and communicate outcomes to supervising Physical Therapist
• Collaborate with the rehab team to create personalized treatment plans
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safety
• Maintain a positive, supportive environment that encourages patient independence

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant - we need someone who knows their stuff
• Active Texas PTA License or Compact License - required before start
• Experience in Long Term Care or skilled nursing setting preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in therapeutic exercises, gait and balance training, and modalities
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Compassionate patient care approach with a focus on functional outcomes
