Production Manager

Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations at a high-volume production facility. This role is responsible for driving safety, quality, productivity, operational efficiency, and employee development while overseeing multiple shifts and cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

• Lead daily manufacturing operations, including production, maintenance coordination, quality, shipping/receiving, staffing, and planning.
• Drive a culture of safety, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
• Manage staffing, scheduling, labor utilization, and overtime needs.
• Develop and coach supervisors and production teams.
• Monitor KPIs and implement improvements to increase efficiency, quality, and cost performance.
• Troubleshoot operational issues and make critical decisions to minimize downtime.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
• Maintain work instructions, SOPs, and production processes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree required;
  Engineering or technical degree preferred.
• 6+ years of Production Manager, Plant Manager, or Manufacturing Operations leadership experience.
• Experience leading multi-shift manufacturing operations.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Continuous Improvement.
• Proven leadership, employee development, and conflict resolution skills.
• Experience managing large teams in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across departments in a matrixed organization.
