Hose Shop Operator

Fabrication And Testing Hose Assemblies

This position is tasked with fabricating and testing hose assemblies as indicated on production orders.

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Measure and cut hoses per work order instructions
• Mold labels onto silicone hose per work instructions
• Fabricate and test hose assemblies
• Tag, clean, assemble and package hose assemblies
• Use calipers to verify crimp diameters
• Work in a cleanroom environment, when necessary
• Enter production information into ERP system as required
• Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, work orders and work instructions, as well as operating and procedure manuals

Education, Skills and Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with team members
• Basic computer knowledge and skills required
• Ability to use tape measures and calipers
• Basic math skills required, specifically in the areas of addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
