Electrophysiology Technologist

JOB SUMMARY Provide expert technical assistance in the Electrophysiology Laboratory to perform diagnostic and interventional procedures. Key Responsibilities Scrub for cardiac ablations (RF and Cryo) and device implants (pacemakers, ICDs, Watchman, Micra). Monitor and pace ablation cases during procedures. Operate and maintain specialized EP lab equipment. Collaborate with electrophysiologists and other healthcare professionals. Ensure patient safety and adherence to infection control protocols. Schedule / Shift 4 x 10-hour shifts per week. Shift Time: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM. Expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees. Required Qualifications Experience monitoring and pacing ablation cases. Experience scrubbing ablations and device implants. Experience with Watchman and Micra procedures. Experience Minimum 1 year of experience in Electrophysiology Lab procedures. Skills Advanced skills in scrubbing ablations and device implants. Proficiency in monitoring and pacing ablation cases. Ability to operate GE Innova, Medtronic Cryoconsole, and Carto Mapping systems. Certifications RCIS or RCES or RT(R) (or eligible to sit for the RCIS). EMR / Systems MacLab/Meditech. Meditech. Patient Population Adult patients undergoing electrophysiology procedures. Unit / Specialty Electrophysiology Lab (EP Lab). Floating / On-Call Expected to provide support in the prep/recovery area as needed. On-call is not required for the EP Lab; option to pick up shifts in the Cardiac Cath Lab (CCL) if desired. #J-18808-Ljbffr
