Investment Banking Analyst

A boutique investment bank in Chicago is looking to add an Investment Banking Analyst to its growing team. The firm focuses on advising middle-market businesses , with particular expertise across transportation, logistics, and supply chain-related industries, although direct sector experience is not a requirement. This is an opportunity to join a lean, entrepreneurial team where Analysts can take on meaningful responsibility early and work closely with senior bankers. Rather than being one of many junior professionals, you’ll have significant exposure to senior team members and be involved throughout the transaction process. Responsibilities Build and maintain detailed financial models and valuation analyses Support M&A and strategic advisory engagements from pitch through execution Conduct industry and company research and prepare client materials Assist with due diligence, transaction analysis, and deal execution Work directly with senior bankers and clients Take ownership of meaningful workstreams and contribute to the continued growth of the platform Qualifications 1–2 years of investment banking experience Strong financial modeling and valuation skills Excellent analytical and communication abilities High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Entrepreneurial mindset and interest in working within a lean, growing team Chicago-based or willing to relocate to Chicago #J-18808-Ljbffr Alexander Chapman
