The division provides specialized expertise in the stewardship of human resources, financial assets, property and facilities in the assurance of a safe environment for faculty, staff, students and visitors to our campus. The Division of Finance and Administration at Georgia State University is seeking to hire a Payroll Time & Absence Assistant (Temp).

What Will You Do?

This position will support the Payroll Office with project related payroll tasks. Duties and responsibilities include:

• Run and analyze time and leave queries and reports.
• Updates approved time reporter panel data.
• Provide backup support for Payroll Department.
• Interpret and respond to questions from other Gsu departments.
• Monitor time & leave tickets to ensure all tickets are resolved in a timely manner and assigned to the appropriate resource.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED Required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.

Preferred Requirements:

• Proficient in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint & Word).
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to comfortable work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities as needed.

Salary: $21.80/hour
