As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Front Desk Reception in Malvern, PA, this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, employees, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Operate the front desk by greeting and directing visitors, verifying identification and access authorization, issuing visitor credentials, and maintaining required visitor records.
• Monitor access points, cameras, alarms, and communication systems; report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations through established channels.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following healthcare location procedures.
• Maintain a professional presence at the reception area while supporting confidentiality requirements and helping to deter unauthorized access.

Minimum Requirements:

• Client requires proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
