Mail Room Supervisor

We are working with a law firm in Great Neck who is looking for a mailroom supervisor who can oversee their busy mailroom. The ideal person must have experience working in a fast paced environment and have working experience of Pitney Bowes Mail Machines. This position is a temp to hire opportunity. 

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily mail room activities
• Sort and collate incoming and outgoing mail
• Distribute mail to appropriate departments
• Weigh mail to determine the correct postage
• Record mail
• Use fax and scanning machines
• Time/date stamp all incoming/outgoing mail
• Ability to go to the post office daily to pick up and drop off mail

Skills:

• Working knowledge of Pitney Bowes mailing/postage machine
• Good computer skills
• Good communication skills
• Team Player
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Hours:

• Monday-Friday 
• 8:00AM-4:45PM
