Position Overview
We are seeking a Board Certified/Eligible Psychiatrist for a full-time, onsite adult inpatient role in Alton, IL . This position offers a Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM schedule with no weekends, holidays, or after-hours call , providing a stable, predictable work environment . The role involves managing a caseload of approximately 22 adult inpatients in a secure clinical setting, including psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
Compensation
Compensation ranges from $210–$225 per hour , with an estimated annual salary of $450,000–$470,000 .
Qualifications
Qualifications include an MD or DO, active Illinois medical license, DEA, and Illinois Controlled Substance license, with inpatient psychiatry experience preferred.
Other Information
This opportunity offers stability, strong compensation, and no on-call or weekend duties . Work is in person only, and flexible scheduling options are available.
