About the Position

Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Profession: Nuclear Medicine Technologist Specialty: Nuclear Medicine Duration: 8 months Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 7.5 hours (08:00 AM - 04:00 PM) Experience: 2+ years of experience License: NYS DOH NMT License Certifications: ARRT (N) or NMTCH (CNMT) Must-Have: - NYS DOH NMT License - ARRT (N) or NMTCH (CNMT) - 2+ years of experience Description: The Nuclear Medicine Technologist will perform nuclear medicine procedures. The technologist will be responsible for ensuring the safety and comfort of patients during exams. Knowledge of cardiac procedures is preferred. The role requires collaboration with other healthcare professionals. Attention to detail and adherence to protocols is essential. Strong communication skills are necessary for interacting with patients and staff. The position requires maintaining equipment and cleanliness in the work area. Continuous education and staying updated on new procedures and technologies is encouraged.
