Arrive prepared with your station stocked, garnishes prepped, and all tools in working order Maintain full knowledge of Cooper’s Hawk food, drink, and wine menus, as well as steps of service Ensure opening and mid-shift checklists are completed so the bar is ready for guests from the start Understand the Wine Club perks and benefits, and be ready to educate and invite our guests to the largest wine club community in the world. Own what you see: Take responsibility, jump in, and do what needs to be done. Keep your bar area clean, organized, and guest-ready throughout the shift Wash and sterilize glassware as needed to prevent delays in service Step in to assist with retail, Wine Club, or other team tasks when you notice a need Stay in sync: Communicate often, move with your team, and keep service flowing. Communicate clearly with Servers, Food Runners, Hosts, and the kitchen to ensure orders are accurate and timely Follow Cooper’s Hawk recipes and portion standards consistently Complete closing duties to set the next shift up for success Make it personal: Be genuine, listen well, and tailor the experience. Greet each guest warmly, using their name when possible, and engage in friendly conversation Offer thoughtful wine, cocktail, and food recommendations based on guest preferences Actively educate guests about the Cooper’s Hawk Wine Club and invite them to join Add a touch: Go beyond the expected to create memorable moments. Present beverages with attention to detail, from creative garnishes to polished glassware Go beyond expectations with small gestures that make each guest feel valued Keep expanding your knowledge of wine, cocktails, and Cooper’s Hawk offerings to enhance the guest experience What You Will Need Must represent Cooper’s Hawk Values Minimum of 1 year bartending experience in a high-volume restaurant or bar preferred Strong communication and guest engagement skills Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment Basic wine knowledge is a plus; willingness to learn is a must Ability to stand and walk up to 10 hours per shift Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays Cooper’s Hawk reviews several factors when establishing compensation.
