Job Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient evaluations, including thorough physical examinations and in-depth assessments of medical histories
• Assist in identifying and diagnosing surgical conditions through detailed interpretation of imaging and lab results
• Collaborate intimately with surgeons to develop and implement tailored surgical treatment strategies for patients
• Provide crucial support during operations, including preparing surgical environments, ensuring proper patient positioning, and adeptly passing instruments throughout procedures
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, including administering medication, managing wounds, facilitating discharge processes, and educating patients

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a surgical emphasis is highly preferred

Certifications

• Active and unencumbered PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
