Field Engineer Intern

Our intern program philosophy is to “recruit once, hire twice” with the hope to hire interns back into full-time or return internship roles. The internship program assignments are 10-14 weeks in duration and are full-time in-person internships. The summer 2027 internship is expected to begin on May 23, 2027. Your Key Responsibilities: Provides technical and operational expertise to external customers in a professional manner. Performs assignments requiring knowledge and application of basic engineering principles. Assists in pre-planning, job execution, and post-job analysis. Participates in developmental programs including a combination of on-the-job field training and classroom training to accelerate learning. Data Analytics and Database management Continuous Improvement Projects What You’ll Bring to Our Team Required Qualifications: Working towards an undergraduate degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) discipline required. Preferred to only have 3 semesters or less until degree completion Requires ability to interpret well site data. Must be willing to relocate for the Summer. Reliable transportation to and from work daily is required. Unrestricted authorization to work in the United States both now and in the future; Halliburton will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position. Desired Qualifications Prior intern, co-op, or research experience Strong analytical and technical skills Well-developed written and verbal communication skills What We Offer… Relocation This position offers relocation based on candidate eligibility. To qualify, your university and/or permanent address must be more than 50 miles from your work location. Corporate housing provided for the summer to those candidates who qualify.
