Job Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical assessments and comprehensive medical history reviews
• Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions through the analysis of imaging studies and lab results
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement patient-specific surgical treatment strategies
• Provide intraoperative assistance, including preparing surgical environments, ensuring optimal patient positioning, and actively participating in instrument exchange during procedures
• Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care, which encompasses medication administration, wound management, discharge planning, and patient education

Education Requirements

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Completion of clinical rotations with a focus on surgery is highly preferred

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant
