**Exciting Opportunity for ICU Registered Nurse!** **Join Our Dynamic Team as an ICU RN** - Shift: Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:00) - Experience: 2 years in ICU required - Patient Ratio: 1:2 (Days, Nights, Weekends) **Essential Qualifications:** - Community Hospital Experience: Required - Trauma Level II Experience: Required - Travel Experience: Yes (discuss with manager for travel exp not being required) **Certifications Needed:** - ACLS, BLS, LA City Fire Card, NIHSS **Preferred Skills:** - IV therapy - Arterial line management - Blood Product Administration - Central line care/management - Starting & maintaining IVs - Care of Ventilated Patients - Ventilator Management - Chronic/Acute Renal Failure Management - Continuous IV sedation - Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs) **Additional Skills:** - Cardiovascular Procedures: CABG, TAVR, IABP, etc. - Neurological Management: CVA, ICP monitoring, etc. - Infection Prevention & Isolation Precautions - Phlebotomy and Cardiac Monitoring - Emergency Medications and Procedures **Unit Information:** - Interdisciplinary Support: Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Social Services, Pharmacy, and more - Patient Age Groups: Adults and Geriatrics - Daily Census: 28 patients, 24 beds, plus 12 overflow beds - Special Procedures: Lines, intubations, conscious sedation, etc. **Unique Features:** - Magnet Facility - Collaborative and Friendly Team Environment - High Acuity, Fast-Paced Atmosphere with diverse patient diagnoses - Float required between like units (PCU/Tele) **Start Date:** - ASAP; First-timers not accepted **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
