Senior Outside Operations Manager

Summary Legends Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, invites applications for a Senior Outside Operations Manager at NRG Park in Houston, Texas. The role reports to the Director of Parking & Operations and involves oversight of parking, exterior property operations, event coordination, traffic control, and liaison with clients, vendors, and outside police. Responsibilities Supervise parking and exterior operations, including traffic control, event staffing, ADA compliance, lot and fence maintenance, and vendor coordination. Conduct research and data analysis to identify revenue growth and operational efficiency opportunities; develop and implement strategies to enhance revenue and minimize internal loss. Collaborate with Finance, Human Resources, and senior leadership to analyze performance metrics, develop data‑driven action plans, and deliver analytical reports to executive leadership. Manage subordinate supervisors, oversee training, knowledge transfer, and escalation processes for event traffic and route planning. Implement and enforce operating procedures, preventive maintenance schedules, emergency plans, and safety/risk management policies. Work closely with Outside Police to ensure proper traffic control and staffing/scheduling. Review contract compliance, communicate with tenants and subcontractors, and inspect construction and installation progress. Assist in preparing the annual operating budget, recommend capital budget needs, and authorize requisitions within budget guidelines. Participate in special projects (construction, remodeling, expansion) and oversee outside vendor/contractor compliance. Oversee parking gate surveillance, traffic flow, loss prevention, and staffing optimization. Maintain equipment, source supplemental event supplies, and coordinate with Event Management to fulfill event requests. Prepare and oversee financial reports and event settlements for the department; attend meetings as required and operate company vehicles when needed. Qualifications Understanding of operational procedures, facility capabilities, industry terminology, event services, and technical requirements for diverse events. Ability to follow general instructions, specifications, blueprints, and preventive maintenance schedules. Familiarity with policies, procedures, risk management, safety precautions, and emergency procedures. Strong organizational and prioritization skills; ability to meet deadlines under pressure. Experience operating heavy‑duty machinery (forklift, scissor lift, boom lift) and working outdoors in variable weather. Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Licensure to operate a motor vehicle in the United States. Education & Experience Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four‑year college or university. 3–5 years of related experience or supervisory experience in the public assembly industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Skills & Abilities Manage multiple projects and assignments effectively. Follow oral and written instructions; communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders. Exercise judgment and initiative; work independently and adapt to changing situations. Familiar with payroll policies and procedures. Demonstrate supervision, training, budgeting, and other administrative skills. Professional customer service orientation for both internal and external customers. Computer Skills Proficient with Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, ABI, Adobe Acrobat, and Illustrator. Experience with Parking Systems software. Physical Demands Regular movement around the facility; standing for long hours during events. Capability to lift, climb, carry, bend, stoop, and kneel as required.
