Registered Nurse - Night Shift

This position operates on a night shift, with 4x12.0 hour workweeks, totaling 48 hours per week, including every other weekend and holiday.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission.
• Develop individualized plans of care based on assessment data.
• Provide timely patient information and status updates for interdisciplinary team meetings.
• Participate in the patient rehabilitation program and ensure quality patient outcomes.
• Initiate discharge planning from the day of admission and provide education to patients and families.
• Facilitate effective communication regarding patient statuses among healthcare providers.
• Supervise and direct ancillary nursing personnel, ensuring proper patient care and organizational standards.
• Contribute positively to unit dynamics and engage in team-building activities.
• Manage inventory and supplies, ensuring efficient and cost-effective care delivery.
• Actively pursue professional growth through ongoing education and self-study.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• BLS and ACLS certifications are required prior to the first shift.
• A minimum of two years of bedside clinical experience is highly desired.
