Job Title: Registered Nurse - Emergency Room Profession: RN Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM Hours per Shift: 12.5 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Current RN license to practice in the state of Ohio Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Must-Have: ACLS/PALS certification may be required based on clinic needs Description: Provides safe and efficient age-specific nursing care to patients and families using the nursing process. Assists patients to attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health status. Implements the nursing process by delivering effective relationship-based nursing care. Demonstrates technical skills in care delivery that result in safe practice and positive patient outcomes. Exhibits clear communication and effective collaboration to optimize patient care and clinical outcomes. Develops self and contributes to the professional practice of nursing. Knowledge of the nursing process and practice is essential. Uses a wide variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed clinical therapies. This role encounters Protected Health Information (PHI) as part of regular responsibilities.
