Job Profile Summary

The Pipe Yard Materials Coordinator & Warehouse Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory through cycle counts, receiving, storing, and loading pipe, operating forklifts, maintaining yard organization and safety, and potentially assisting with pipe preparation or maintenance tasks. Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Unload pipe, verify heat numbers and quantities, and accurately record inventory in the system.
• Minimize overstocks and remove obsolete or redundant materials to maximize working capital availability.
• Accurately pull and prepare pipe orders for shipment, ensuring correct materials and quantities are loaded.
• Ensure incoming products are received and managed appropriately according to company procedures.
• Receive and inspect all incoming materials, reconcile with purchase orders, process and distribute documentation, and report and track damages and discrepancies.
• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, pipe yards, or other areas.
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
• Mark materials, tools, and equipment using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.
• Issue and distribute materials, products, and parts based on incoming requisitions.
• Maintain records on the use or damage of stock or stock-handling equipment.
• Maintain records to ensure inventory control, cost containment, and proper stock levels.
• Review data from contracts, purchase orders, requisitions, and other documents to assess supply needs.
• Maintain housekeeping duties, keeping the pipe yard clean, organized, and safe.
• Follow all safety procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Assist other team members with various tasks.

Top Qualifications

• Pipe handling or Pipeyard experience
• Experience with Telehandler and forklifts
• Willing to commute – with reliable transportation
• Basic to advance computer knowledge
• Self-motivated (can work alone with very little supervision)
• Strong Communication skills

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of materials, equipment, and supplies procured through purchasing and materials.
• Knowledge of storeroom operations and the purchasing process.
• Knowledge of ERP systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, etc.).
• Mathematical skills.
• Ability to use office equipment applicable to the position, including computers and relevant software.
• Effective communication skills for exchanging written and verbal information.
• Ability to react immediately to emergency situations to prevent injury.
• Ability to operate required tools and equipment.

Licenses and Certifications

• Forklift Operator certification.
• Scissor Lift Operation certification.
