General Manager

Job Summary:

A growing operations-focused organization in Rowlett, TX is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead strategic planning, daily operations, financial performance, business development, and organizational leadership. This direct hire opportunity is ideal for a senior operations leader with a strong background in manufacturing, production, plant management, or a related environment.

The General Manager will work closely with department heads and executive leadership to drive growth, improve operational efficiency, strengthen customer relationships, and support long-term business stability. Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute long-term strategic plans that support company goals, operational excellence, and sustainable growth.
- Oversee daily operations to ensure productivity, efficiency, quality, policy compliance, and effective coordination across departments.
- Manage financial performance, including budgeting, expenditure approvals, financial monitoring, and corrective action planning.
- Identify business development opportunities, build relationships with clients and partners, and represent the organization with key stakeholders.
- Lead, mentor, and develop management teams while fostering a positive, inclusive, and collaborative company culture.
- Support customer relationship management, sustainability initiatives, regulatory compliance, and crisis management planning.

Compensation and Benefits:

- Salary range: $120,000 to $127,000 per year.
- Job type: Direct hire.
- Location: Rowlett, TX.

- Lead department heads and management teams while driving accountability, communication, and collaboration.

- 10+ years of professional experience, including senior management or general management experience.
- Experience in manufacturing, production, operations, plant management, plating, or a closely related industry is preferred.
- Strong business acumen with a solid understanding of financial principles, budgeting, forecasting, and operational performance metrics.
- Proficiency with business management software, reporting tools, and operational systems.
- Strong knowledge of industry trends, market dynamics, competitive landscapes, regulatory requirements, and compliance standards.
- Excellent leadership, team-building, mentoring, communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and crisis management capabilities.
- Ability to inspire employees at all levels and promote a positive, inclusive, and performance-focused culture.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Prior leadership experience in a plating, manufacturing, or process-driven production environment.
- Experience developing sustainability initiatives, corporate social responsibility programs, or environmental compliance strategies.
- Proven track record of business growth, operational turnaround, customer relationship management, or multi-department leadership.
- Experience representing an organization at industry events, conferences, client meetings, or partner engagements.
