This is a hybrid work opportunity out of our Atlanta Ignition location.Responsibilities:Define roadmaps and technical strategies for multi‑year, large‑scale programs that span cloud services, microservices, front‑end frameworks and Artificial Intelligence (AI)/ Machine Learning (ML) integrationsAct as the main liaison between business stakeholders, enterprise architects, security/risk officers and product leadership to align priorities, scope and budgetsOwn end‑to‑end program delivery; guide design reviews, enforce best practices (infrastructure as code, containerization, API standards), and validate POCs for new technologies (LLM fine‑tuning, prompt‑based workflows, and more)Hire, mentor and grow a high‑performing team of engineers (full‑stack, data science, DevOps; create clear career paths, and foster a culture of continuous learningWork in a highly regulated environment with security testing and risk teams to bake in security‑by‑design threat modeling, automated security scans, pen‑testing cycles and regulatory complianceAct with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environmentQualifications:Minimum ten years of recent experience in software engineering; minimum five years of recent experience in a hands on leadership role; proven track record leading large, complex enterprise programs on Azure (App Services, Functions, Azure Kubernetes Service, SQL Database)Master's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred. Minimum of a bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering or related field is required.
