Strategic HR Ambassador: Represent our workforce development programs in direct collaborations with other federal agencies, state and local authorities, public and private utilities, and industry groups. You will negotiate resources, build consensus on complex initiatives, and align our programs with national industry standards. Curator of Cutting-Edge Educational Programs: Oversee the full lifecycle of training programs, balancing internal curriculum development with external vendor management. You will evaluate training needs using industry best practices to ensure that our course catalogs, required training programs, and external learning options remain modern, relevant, and impactful. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

A qualified candidate's resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-14) in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as: experience 1) leading the planning and implementation of workforce development programs for a large organization, such as leadership training, succession planning, or knowledge management; 2) serving as a first-level supervisor with responsibilities for assigning work, evaluating employee performance, and providing guidance on career development; AND 3) conducting instructional design activities and facilitating training programs to meet business needs. "Experience" refers to paid and unpaid experience. Examples of qualifying unpaid experience may include: volunteer work done through National Service programs (such as Peace Corps and AmeriCorps); as well as work for other community-based philanthropic and social organizations. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills; and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience.
