Clinical Research Scientist (PhD) — R&D Ambassador Build the Evidence. Represent the Science. Change Recovery. Our technology is already supported by published clinical evidence and real-world outcomes. Now we are expanding the research function that will define the future of orthopedic rehabilitation. We are hiring a Clinical Research Scientist to lead that effort—and become the public face of Ermi’s science. This Role Is Different Publish and present research that directly influences clinical adoption. Represent Ermi at leading orthopedic and sports medicine conferences globally. Work at the intersection of clinical science, product innovation, and patient outcomes. Help build a category-defining body of evidence. What You’ll Do 1. Lead Clinical Evidence Development Design and publish Randomized Controlled Trials (RCTs) Expand Ermi’s research across: Therapeutic stretching mechanisms Biomechanics and robotic joint testing Translate findings into clinically actionable outcomes. 2. Represent Ermi on the Global Stage Present research at major conferences (AAOS, AOSSM, ORS, ISAKOS, ESSKA) Build relationships with surgeons, researchers, and institutions. Establish Ermi as a leader in rehabilitation science. 3. Drive Innovation with Engineering Partner directly with product and engineering teams Turn clinical insights into new device concepts and protocols. Help define the future of Ermi’s R&D pipeline. Who You Are PhD / DSc in biomechanics, kinesiology, biomedical engineering, or related field Strong publication record (~10–15+ peer-reviewed articles) Confident presenter comfortable in high-visibility environments Willing to travel for conferences and research collaboration Motivated by impact beyond academia Our Standard At Ermi, research is grounded in: Patient-first thinking Scientific integrity A commitment to doing the right thing in every decision As outlined in our Ermi Motion Code of Conduct, you will be expected to: Uphold the highest standards of clinical and research ethics.
