Responsibilities
- Provide specialized respiratory care to NICU neonates per physician orders and established protocols.
- Manage ventilator support, including initiation, monitoring, adjustment, and weaning under medical direction.
- Administer therapies such as bronchodilators, surfactant administration support, airway clearance techniques, and continuous positive airway pressure as ordered.
- Monitor patient status, interpret arterial blood gas results, chest radiographs, and other clinical data to optimize therapy.
- Collaborate with the NICU care team (nurses, physicians, respiratory therapy leadership) to develop and implement patient-specific care plans.
- Document assessments, treatments, responses, and changes in the patient's medical record accurately and timely.

Requirements
- Active Georgia RRT license (GA RRT Lic)
- NBRC - RRT credential
- AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications
- Minimum 2 years of recent NICU-specific respiratory therapy experience
- Ability to work nights in an NICU/inpatient neonatal care setting
- Eligibility to work in the United States
